Zero-dimensional inorganic perovskites has the general chemical formula of Cs4PbX6 (X = Cl–, Br–, or I–), those materials have high percent of PLQY (photoluminescence quantum yield) due to strong quantum-confined environment that stems from the isolation of [PbBr6]4– octahedra clusters from one another by the surrounding monovalent metal ions. We are working on using this unique property in LED (light-emitting diode) devices to achieve emitting device.
